Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yogoo AI ("Yogoo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use yogoo.ai and related services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Audit requests. When you run a free citation audit, we receive the domain you enter and standard server-side request metadata, including your IP address (used for rate limiting) and user agent. Running an audit does not require an account.

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and any brand/domain information you choose to track.

Waitlist and forms. If you submit your email to a waitlist, contact form, or follow-up form, we store your email address and the source page you submitted from, so we can send you what you requested.

Usage and analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand aggregate site usage (page views, referral sources, country-level location). Plausible is cookieless, does not store IP addresses, uses no persistent identifiers, and does not track you across other websites. Shared client-report pages are excluded from analytics entirely.

Billing information. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Your payment card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on Yogoo's servers; we receive only your subscription status, plan, and billing email address. Stripe describes its handling of your data at stripe.com/privacy.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Run the citation audit you requested and generate your Yogoo Score
• Operate and maintain your account, if you create one
• Send you information you've asked for (audit results, product updates, waitlist follow-ups)
• Monitor and improve the reliability and performance of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your data to data brokers or advertisers.

3. What we don't do

• We don't sell your email address or share it with advertisers or data brokers — it goes only to the service providers described below.
• We don't track you across other websites.
• We don't spam — you'll only hear from us when there's something relevant to say.

4. Third-party services

The following services process data on our behalf. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel — hosts and serves yogoo.ai (US region); receives standard request data including IP addresses. Privacy policy
• Plausible Analytics — cookieless, aggregate usage statistics; no IP addresses stored, no cross-site tracking. Privacy policy
• Resend — sends transactional email (alerts, trial and account notices); receives your email address. Privacy policy. Direct correspondence from our team is sent via Google Workspace.
• Stripe — payments and subscription billing; card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers. Privacy policy
• Clerk — handles account sign-in and authentication; receives your email address and sign-in metadata. Privacy policy
• Supabase — hosts our database in AWS US-West, where account and tracker data is stored. Privacy policy
• The AI engines we query to generate scores and audits — OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini, AI Overviews), Perplexity — receive only the brand names, domains, and topic prompts being measured, never your account details. Google AI Overviews results are retrieved via DataForSEO, a search-data provider, under the same limitation.

5. Data retention

• Audit data: anonymous audits are not linked to any identity; request logs (IP address, user agent) are kept for up to 30 days for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and citation measurements are kept as part of the Service's historical trend data.
• Account and email data: retained while your account is active, or until you request deletion.
• Deletion requests: honored within 30 days of request.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in every email)

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@yogoo.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. We extend these rights to all users regardless of location, including the rights provided by the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA (California). We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

7. Cookies

yogoo.ai sets only strictly necessary cookies: the authentication session cookies from Clerk, our sign-in provider, which keep you logged in. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics (Plausible) is entirely cookieless. Clearing your browser's cookies for yogoo.ai simply signs you out.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
